“A Patronising Attitude To Those Living In Poverty”

July 18, 2013

“The idea that the benefit system is overly generous and needs to be capped is ludicrous”.

“The tax-benefit system is unfair to people who are living in poverty. It appears to be generous, but it is not. Most people do not understand how unfair the current system really is”,  says Director of The Centre for Welfare Reform, Simon Duffy in the  centre’s newsletter.

“I recently attended a seminar on welfare reform in London”, Simon says, “where an eminent speaker summarised the welfare state’s function as ‘being for the benefit of the poor.’ Yet her audience (academics, think-tankers, civil servants) seemed, to me at least, to be the real beneficiaries of the welfare state. They were all on very high salaries, all enjoying very nice lifestyles, and all funded by the tax payer.

“It is almost as if, when we work for government we don’t see ourselves as beneficiaries”, Simon continues, “ instead we see ourselves as doing everyone else a favour by offering them our services. We believe we are fully entitled to our own salaries, to our pensions and to our power, whereas ‘the poor’ should think themselves lucky to be getting our services. This is self-deception on a rather grand scale and it encourages a deeply patronising attitude to those who live in poverty.”

August rioters described as ‘Feral Rats’ without a stake in society.

And who bred these feral rats ?

Tony Blair and and his poisonous government of obnoxious self interested, corrupt little prigs with chips on their shoulders on the make – that’s who ! Years and years of socialist destruction have wrecked Britain, leaving it a traumatised society wrecked and torn apart, impoverised and brutalised by State control of every aspect of daily life.

Successive Labour Governments have steadily eroded everyone’s stake in society as socialism sought to control more and more of the population with it’s Big Brother State of bureaucratic nightmare proportions. Control of everything was the Labour Government mantra as squirming tentacles of government interference reached out everywhere in the Tony Blair and Gormless Gordon years.

The bottom end of British society was where Tony Blair and his destructive cronies caused the most damage, luring the poorer people with endlessly false promises which just trapped them in greater poverty and deprivation as the merely filthy rich became obscenely rich at everyone else’s expense and with lots of help from labour Party pals running the country only for their own benefit.

What a miserably despicable bunch of looters they were !

They looted Britain of self respect, of dignity, of prosperity and integrity. They looted the the pockets of the poor so the rich might become even richer, while those stuck in the middle were looted of opportunity, as well as the poor who were also looted of every hope they might have once had.

Bastards !

All these economic & political problems have been created by banks miss-behaving and miss-managing. The problems are entirely artificial and unwanted and are purely the product of banker’s greed as they seek to divert wealth from the people who actually create it, to themselves.

In the real World where there are no bankers controlling every move everyone makes, there are literally unlimited jobs waiting to be done as humankind would wish to to advance civilisation and eradicate poverty, deprivation and mediaeval ways of life which are a disgusting product of politicians’ venal stupidity and self interest.

Bankers stop people working. Bankers destroy jobs. Bankers destroy wealth and wealth creation. Bankers destroy whole economies and damage people’s lives. Bankers are ruthless, violent, merciless, unthinking and greedily inconsiderate as all they are concerned about is their own profit. Banks do not care about destroying people’s lives; they do it all the time.

Wealth is what is created by people working away at something that needs doing. Workers create assets as they build cities and invent new and useful things to manufacture to improve modern life. Different types of workers like medical workers use skills to beaver away at looking after people while other workers beaver away at a million and one useful tasks that create all the goods and services needed to advance human civilisation. This is the real creation of wealth.

But banks interfere with all those good intentions; banks stifle and choke it with their iron grip of greed and control.

Real wealth is not “money’. Money is just a convenient invention needed to enable trade between people and avoid bartering assets between each other. Instead we use ‘money’ to measure assets and wealth and just barter money between ourselves instead.

But banks have grabbed control of all money; grabbed control of it from the governments who originated it, and have debased and destroyed it by how they have used and manipulated it.

Banks have vastly increased how much they charge the rest of us for using money in Modern Times as they learnt they could exert almost a complete stranglehold on all money by developing new banking tricks designed to grasp almost total control of all money away from everyone else – governments included.

Computers and subsequent electronic based banking processes were a godsend to feed the greed of bankers. The rest of the non-banking population was bemused by the onslaught of banking and financial market gobbledegook nonsense language designed to confuse and discombobulate everyone else not part of the magic circle of financiers.

Interest rates charged by banks have soared to ludicrously usurious levels based on pure fantasy. Banks have also invented imaginatively fictitious reasons for other charges everyone is forced to pay just to use their own money; charges which often are no more than pure fraud. But the banks get away with it. Banks have even attempted to charge people for taking their own money out of the bank to spend .

They have effectively taken away nearly all money from individuals, businesses or governments in order to then dole it out back to to everyone else, but only with onerous terms and conditions attached to it to give banks control over it and make everyone using the bank’s money the effective slaves of the banks

This enables banks to milk as much profit as they can get away with and squeeze out of the exhausted financial slaves they now control.

Because the banks have wormed their way into virtually all financial activities anyone, individuals, businesses or Governments ever engage in, the banks dictate to and control everyone through their control of the money supply, over which they have an iron grip.

They do so with only one objective in mind – making as much profit for themselves as they can possibly do so, and protecting themselves as much as possible by seeking as much domination and control of their ‘customers’ as they can get away with.

In order to make ever increasing amounts of money for themselves, the banks have needed to lend more and more because this is their principal way of making almost unlimited amounts of money to line their own pockets with. Hence the obscene banker’s bonuses stretching into the millions of pounds paid to bank staff who have skills no more remarkable or worth huge rewards than the skills of all the rest of the averagely well educated workforce.

But in their blind stampede to earn obscene profits and grow so large they now control the entire Global economy, the banks have connived to persuade and brainwash everyone into believing that borrowing ever increasing amounts of money from the banks under more and more onerous conditions is a good idea.

It isn’t a good idea at all ! Because all the borrowers are stifled and choked by the control the banks have over everything they do. Banks take away everything from their borrowers and turn them into milch cows for profit forever condemned to perpetual servitude to the banks greed.

The increasing unemployment is entirely due to the activities of the banks preventing people who want to work from doing so. The whole Global economic crisis is caused entirely by the banks – no one else.

Until someone takes away from the banks their selfish and destructive control of the money supply and puts it back into the hands of each and every individual worker who needs to use it in order to create work and therefore real, lasting actual wealth, then this economic crisis will only get worse and more and more jobs will be lost as unemployment skyrockets.

Money as debt doesn’t work because the banks own and control all the debt which they then mismanage spectacularly in pursuit of greed.

It is essential that control of the money supply is completely removed from the banks in order to rescue the World from the economic manipulation and collapse which the banks have inflicted on it !

Death to money as debt (controlled by the banks ).

Long live real money owned by the people (controlled by the people who actually use it and create real wealth) !

Councils spend £100m on taxpayer-funded credit cards

By Heidi Blake, and Conrad Quilty-Harper of THE DAILY TELEGRAPH 9:31PM BST 27 May 2011

Horsham Council in West Sussex spent £1150 on two llamas to graze on communal land along with a small flock of sheep. They also spent £575 on live fish for a council pond.

Councils have spent tens of millions of pounds on taxpayer-funded credit cards with local authority executives and councillors treating themselves to first-class travel to foreign destinations and stays in five-star hotels, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.

Despite being ordered to cut spending by almost 30 per cent, town hall chiefs have continued to lavish hundreds of thousands of pounds on dinners at Michelin-starred restaurants, leisure trips and expensive gifts including iPads and video games while slashing jobs and scrapping front-line services.

An investigation by The Daily Telegraph has uncovered details of apparently questionable spending decisions by councillors and local government officials, with more than £2 million spent on travel over the last three years, including flights to Thailand, Kenya and Bermuda.

Documents obtained by this newspaper show that the councils also spent £2m on hotel bills, including stays at the famous Four Seasons in New York, the five-star Pan Pacific in Singapore, and the Athens Hilton.

Hospitality bills totalling £2.6m were paid on the cards, including dinners at Claridges, one of Britain’s most expensive hotels, hog roasts and champagne receptions, as well as tens of thousands of pounds spent booking tables at award ceremonies.

A total of another £500,000 was spent on gifts such as Tiffany jewellery, Gucci products and pure silk ties, while online shopping sprees racked up bills of more than £300,000 at Argos and £150,000 at Amazon.

Like many others, I have a problem with speeding tickets , my first ever in forty years of driving !

Of course it was a camera – and a con trick to gather money.

The road was a minor A road completely empty except for me. It was 9.30 p.m. ish on a dark winter night and it was raining cats and dogs, relentlessly.

Because of atrocious weather conditions and a very bendy road it was impossible for me to drive particularly fast. Driving at all in those conditions took all my concentration. If I had driven fast, I would simply have skidded off the road. I also had my nine year old son in the car.

Suddenly, going around a sharp bend I saw a 30 mph sign. It was obscured from being seen at any maximum sort of distance by virtue of being partially around a bend.

The very second I saw the 30 mph sign I braked as hard as the wet, greasy skid encouraging road surface allowed.

While my foot was still firmly on the brake holding the car on the edge of a slight skid – around a corner – in a semi emergency stop sort of way, the camera flashed.

It was so close to the 30MPH sign it was impossible to slow any faster from what had been a reasonable speed prior to the sign.

The record showed me doing 38 mph.

The case has yet to go to court where I wish to fight it.

I am even considering refusing to pay any fine etc if found guilty and would be prepared to go to prison.

If everyone was prepared to do this, refuse to pay and willing go to prison, the law would change pretty damn quick, I should think.

I now always make a point of never paying for parking, and just throw all the tickets away, as I have had some breathtaking experiences of being robbed blind with parking tickets. I even lost a newish car illegally taken by bailiffs.

Two recent tickets have instantly expanded to over a thousand pounds each because I didn’t pay them. The utterly disproportionate way in which an already extortionate penalty charge of £40 instantly escalates to this sort of figure is a national scandal.

WHY do we all put up with it ?

This Totalitarian Government under Gordon Brown is simply a thief.

Motorists are being deliberately milked of gigantic amounts of money to prop up an incompetent, repressive and failing Government of inadequate control freaks.

How did they ever get into power ?

Any advice would be very welcome. And might I suggest giving consideration to organising a national campaign against extorting money through the excuse of ludicrously high parking fees.

If everyone just threw their parking tickets away and refused to pay for parking, the whole rotten system would grind to a full stop.

Just to point out a little truth that few people seem be aware of. Most council parking parking fees add up the cost of a parking space being more than enough each month to pay for a substantial mortgage.

Yes, that’s right. Each parking space milks the motorist of a monthly sum sufficient to pay a large mortgage. Some spaces wrack up to being worth thousands of pounds per month to the council in extortion money.

When criminals specialise in extortion it is a crime. How come it isn’t a crime when councils and the government do it ?

Can someone tell me ?
